Two French tourists reported missing yesterday in the Talamanca region were found this morning, confirmed police. The couple became lost after hiking to a waterfall in the area, said officials.

Costa Rican seismologists registered a mid-sized earthquake near Quepos on the Pacific coast this morning. The 4.7-magnitude quake occurred about 42 kilometers south of Quepos, and about 33 kilometers from the coast.
The epicenter was close to where a 5.8 struck last week, said seismologists with the Seismic Lab at the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR).

Yesterday at Playa Prieta my car alarm went off which has happened before so I went to disarm and rearm it. As I approached, there was a black older Samurai leaving rapidly. I didn’t look real close as it has gone off before, but I noticed later my driver door lock had been punched.
